Advertisement Overview

You can use the Advertisement module to manage display advertising campaigns you locally sold. These ad placements are part of the Managed Ads Program and support a range of formats and trigger options inside your app.

Open this page in the Dashboard: Dashboard > Advertisement > Ad Campaigns

Activation and Availability

This feature is available exclusively within the Managed Ads Program. If you’d like to activate it, please contact Support.

Currently, display ad placements are only available in apps. Website support is under development and will be available in a future release.

Supported Ad Types

1. App Start Ads

Display an ad when the app is launched or reopened from the background.

  • Media Types:

  • Trigger:

    • On app launch

    • On return from background (customizable cooldown period)

  • Behavior:

    • Videos play muted by default

    • Users can enable sound manually

    • Supports auto-close, looping, and custom skip delay

  • Configuration (set during setup):

    • Frequency (e.g., every 3rd app launch)

    • Minimum background time before re-trigger

2. Home Screen Ads

Ads placed between content sections on the home screen.

  • Media Types:

  • Behavior:

    • Displayed after a defined number of sections

    • Muted by default, sound can be enabled

    • Clicking opens the destination URL

  • Configuration (set during setup):

    • Number of sections between ad slots

3. Audio Start Ads

Triggered when users start Livestreams, Podcasts, or Playlists (Pro Plan only).

  • Media Types:

  • Behavior:

    • Audio will play if present

    • Frequency of display is configured by the Audiospace team

  • Configuration (set during setup):

    • Display ad after every X audio starts

Programmatic Ads Option

All ad placements (App Start, Home Screen, Audio Start) can also be dynamically filled using programmatic advertising provided by Audiospace.
