To support our Managed Ads Program within your apps, you need to add your developer website to your app store listings on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, and upload the app-ads.txt file to your website.
Step 1: Add Your Developer Website in Your App Store Listing
For Google Play:
Sign In: Log in to your Play Console.
Select App: Choose the app you want to update.
Navigate: On the left menu, click Store presence > Store listing.
Update Contact Details: Scroll down to Contact Details.
Add Website URL: Enter your developer website URL.
For Apple App Store:
Log In: Access App Store Connect.
Update Marketing URL: Go to your app’s store listing and add your developer website URL in the Marketing URL field.
App Update Required: If you need to change this value, a new app update is necessary. Notify us of the website you wish to use, and we can make the change for you.
Note: Changes in Google Play may take up to 24 hours to be detected.
Step 2: Upload Your app-ads.txt File
Download the File:
Access the app-ads.txt file from this link.
Right-click on the page and select Save Page As to download the file.
Upload the File to Your Website:
Location: Upload the app-ads.txt file to your website’s root directory.
Accessibility: Ensure the file is accessible without geo-blocking. For example, if your website is
domain.com, the file should be accessible atdomain.com/app-ads.txt.
Important Notes:
Website URL Updates: For changes in the developer website URL, allow up to 24 hours for Google Play to detect the updates.
File Accessibility: Ensure the app-ads.txt file is publicly accessible to ensure proper ad management.
