The new analytics module delivers faster, more precise, and privacy-compliant insights across all your digital platforms. It provides a clearer, more unified picture of user engagement for both apps and websites.
Availability
The new analytics module will be rolled out gradually starting October 15, 2025. Audiospace will notify your organization once the feature is activated for your account.
Key Improvements
Faster Performance – Significantly reduced Dashboard loading times and smoother visualizations enable more efficient, real-time decision-making.
More Accurate Session Tracking – Sessions now stay active when users briefly close the app (within 5 minutes) or interact via background media controls, ensuring more realistic behavioral insights.
Improved Session Duration Metrics – Zero-duration sessions are now excluded from average calculations, resulting in more meaningful engagement data.
Privacy-Compliant User Tracking – Fully compliant with GDPR and COPPA. When users don’t consent to tracking, anonymous identifiers maintain essential analytics data without compromising privacy.
Complete Website Analytics – For clients using our website product, all web events are now tracked, creating a unified analytics view across app and web.
Platform Filters – Segment your data by platform (iOS, Android, Web) for more granular performance insights.
Editorial Content Insights – Gain visibility into engagement with articles, PDFs, and videos — a new addition to our analytics system.
Transition Date
The transition date marks when data collection begins under the new system. You will receive this date directly from Audiospace. Please note the following key points:
Data before the transition date remains visible in the new Dashboard but was collected using the previous measurement method. As a result, the following metrics may appear higher or lower after the transition date:
Sessions
Unique Users
Average Session Duration
Data collected before the transition date cannot feed all visualizations, since fewer event types were recorded.
Some charts and views will therefore only display data from the transition date onward, indicated by red markings in the interface.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still access historical data collected under the old system?
Yes. Historical data remains fully available and can be viewed in the same Dashboard environment.
Why do I see differences in Sessions and Unique Users?
If your organization uses both an app and a website built by Audiospace, total session counts will likely increase after the transition date. This is because the new system now aggregates both web and app data. In addition, the session definition and unique user tracking methods have been updated to align with the latest analytics standards, which may lead to further numerical differences. For detailed questions about the measurement methodology, please contact your Audiospace representative.
Can I access analytics outside of the Dashboard?
Yes. External access is available through our Analytics Pro solution. Please contact Audiospace Support for more information.
