Contests are a powerful tool for generating first-party user data. By encouraging users to participate in prize draws or promotions, you not only increase engagement but also collect valuable user information. All data entries and winner selection can be managed directly in the Dashboard using built-in tools designed for efficient campaign handling.
Open this page in the Dashboard: Dashboard > Campaigns > Contests
Click on a Contest and navigate to Participants (header menu)
Once entries are submitted, you can review and manage them in the "Participants" tab:
1. Select a Winner
Click Choose random user to draw a random winner.
Confirm the selection or redraw if needed.
Once confirmed, the winner is recorded in the user’s profile, so previous wins can be tracked.
2. Filter & Search
Use filters or the search bar to narrow down entries:
Gender
Country
Region (if enabled)
Date of birth (from / to, only if provided)
Analytics enabled
Notifications enabled
Receive Newsletter
Phone verified
3. View User Data
Click the + symbol to expand the user card and access:
Set as winner: Manually mark a participant as winner (also saved to the user’s profile).
User page: See all Contests this user has entered. Use filters to identify previous wins.
4. Export Participants
Export all filtered participants as a CSV file for further use or reporting.
