Coupon Campaigns Overview

Coupon Campaigns allow you to reward your users, drive engagement, and promote external partners by offering personalized or generic Coupon codes through your app. To launch a campaign, make sure you have all required assets and configuration details in place.

Campaign Types

There are two main types of Coupon Campaigns:

  1. Auto Send Promotions
Ideal for rewarding existing users, generating more first party data and encouraging in-app engagement. Distribute Coupons automatically to a specific Audience or to all users. Coupons will only be issued if the campaign is active within its defined start and end time.

  2. Registration Promotion
This campaign type is perfect for driving user growth and encouraging sign-ups. With a Registration Promotion, only users who create a new account during the active campaign period (between the defined start and end time) will automatically receive a Coupon. Existing registered users will not be eligible and will not receive a Coupon.

Requirements for Setting Up a Coupon Campaign

Partner Logo

  • Format: Preferably square

  • Background: Transparent PNG

  • Cropping: Remove unnecessary whitespace or padding around the logo

This logo will be displayed on the Coupon preview and within the app interface.

Coupon Details

  • Discount type (e.g., “20% off”, “Free Coffee”, etc.)

  • Step-by-step redemption instructions (how and where the cCoupon can be used)

Coupon Codes

Each Coupon must include a valid code. These codes need to be:

  • Compatible with your customer’s point-of-sale system, or

  • Scannable using a connected smart device (phone or tablet)

If the customer provides the codes:

  • They must supply a list of unique codes or a single shared code

  • Provide the code type (see section below)

  • Format: CSV file, one code per line with no additional headers, spaces, or characters

If the customer does not provide codes:

  • We can generate them as a QR-Code. These codes will be scanned and validated on-site using a tablet or smartphone camera and a live browser interface showing code status (valid/used).
