Music Scheduling Page

This feature is exclusively available in our PRO plan.

Music Scheduling allows you to design automated playlist rules based on categories and clocks. This feature helps you categorize songs and create category sequences within clocks, making playlist management more efficient.

Open this page in the Dashboard: Dashboard > Scheduling > Music

The Music Scheduling interface is built around drag-and-drop functionality. You can easily categorize songs and arrange these categories into clocks to automate playlist creation.

1. Filter Display Areas

Customize which segments are visible by clicking the appropriate checkboxes for Tracks, Categories, and Clocks. The order in which you select these options determines their arrangement on the page, aiding in smoother drag-and-drop operations.

2. Categories

• Search Categories: Use the text search to filter categories by type (Music, Jingle, Ad, Podcast, Mixed).

• Add New Categories: Click "+Create new category" to add a category with a name, type, and color.

• Edit Songs in a Category: Click the music note icon to view and manage songs within a category. Use the play button to listen, the "X" to remove a track (without deleting from the library), and "Go To" for track details.

• Edit Category: Click the pencil icon to change a category’s name, color, or type.

Adding Tracks: Ensure both the Tracks and Categories segments are visible. Search or filter your library, then drag and drop tracks from the Tracks segment into the desired category.

Predefined Categories for Third Party Audio Ad Servers

Functional categories are provided for Ad Server solutions from AdsWizz and Instreamatic. These should be used for placing ads within playlists. Do not delete these categories unless necessary.

Important: Requirement for this feature is a third party ad server. For setting up third party audio ad server integration, refer to the provided setup documentation.

3. Clocks

• Create a New Clock: Click "+ Create new clock," enter a name, and start building your clock.

• View Existing Clocks: Expand the categories list for current clocks using the arrow icon.

• Edit or Delete Clocks: Click the pencil icon to modify or the "X" to remove a clock. Adjust the order of categories with drag-and-drop.

Adding Categories: Ensure both the Categories and Clocks segments are visible. Drag and drop categories into your clock in the desired sequence.

4. Tracks

• Normal View: Displays your entire library. Use search and filters to find tracks and add them to categories.

• Category View: Shows tracks within a selected category. Remove tracks using the "X" icon without deleting them from the library.
