Music Database Import: First Steps

This option is exclusively available in our PRO plan.

To efficiently import and sync your music database, we need detailed information about where your music and related data are stored and how they can be accessed. Please provide answers to the following questions to facilitate this process.

Questions

1. Radio Software:

   • Usage: Do you use any kind of radio software? If so, please list all the radio software you are using.

2. File Storage:

   • Location: Where are the music files stored? (e.g., remote server, internal server, cloud storage)

3. Meta Data Storage:

   • Music Meta Data: Where is the metadata for the music located? This includes details like title, artist, album, etc. (This could be within the radio software or another system.)

   • Cover Images: Where are the cover images for the music stored?

   • Playout Data: Where is playout data such as cue points stored? (This could also be within the radio software or another system.)

4. CSV Export Capability:

   • Export: Is it possible to export CSV files on a daily basis? Each row should represent an audio track, and the columns should include different metadata or paths to the audio file and album cover image.

• Radio Software: Provide a list of all radio software used.

• File Storage: Specify the location of your music files.

• Meta Data and Cover Images: Detail where metadata and cover images are stored.

• Playout Data: Indicate where playout data is managed.

• CSV Export: Confirm if daily CSV exports are possible and describe their format.
